To quote the 1914 March sung by both the Allied and German armies: "It's a Long Way to Tipperary" – and it is, as this is the longest hole on the course. The hole features more scenic vistas, especially from the enormous, elevated green – the top plateau of which is used for taking the daily stimpmeter readings.

The longest hole on the course, this par 5 is uphill but usually with the wind –allowing you to 'let out the shaft'. Its wide, verdant fairways can be a bit of a respite until you reach the three-tiered and well-bunkered green. A back-level pin is not for the faint of heart.
