Hole 14 - San Juan
 Description:

Before the trees matured, the elevated tee of this difficult par-three offered unsurpassed views of San Juan Island – the largest in the group of a dozen US islands just to the east of Victoria. You also get stunning views of greater Victoria and the Sooke Hills to the west and of the menacing tee shot ahead. Trouble lurks too far left (woods), too far right (OB) or long (OB). If ever a par-three felt like a par-four…

 Pro Tips:

The stronger of the two par 3s on the back nine, this hole is played from an elevated tee across 100+ yards of rock and gorse before it gives way to a deep apron which collects shots falling short. Course designer A. V. Macan was renowned for including at least one green that slopes from front to back and this example can be lightning fast. It demands a soft left-to-right approach shot.
