Par 4 – Green/278 yards White/336 yards Blue 343 yards Gold 345 yards
Description:
This uphill par-four is sneaky narrow – hence the name - which refers to the narrow straight separating Europe and Asia in northwest Turkey (and site of another crucial WWI battle). Here, the successful drive must thread the needle between trees and gorse. Often a Scottish piper can be seen and heard to the left of the tee, beside a grove of trees which are rooted in a natural spring that provided water for the first settlers.
Pro Tips:
Another magnificent tee-box vista precedes this devious uphill par 4 that can very quickly produce a big number on your card. The narrowest hole on the course puts a premium on accuracy. Again, you must factor in the crosswinds. Beware of the speed of this well-bunkered but fair green.
