Par 3 – Green/118 yards White/126 yards Blue 149 yards Gold 159 yards
Description:
One of the oldest holes on the course, the high greenside mounds were created by decades of bunker shots. There is very little info on the origin of the name – other than the obvious: it can be a calamity if you're the victim of a bad bounce or unlucky ricochet off the over-hanging trees. (Unless of course, the bad bounces cancel each other out and you score a hole-in-one.)
Pro Tips:
Take an extra half-club on this hole which is often played into the prevailing wind. The best strategy is to go long rather than short as three deep bunkers surround one of the fastest greens on the course. Also critical here is to not short-side yourself if you miss the putting surface.
