Description:

Masters Champ Mike Weir termed this one of the very best short holes he has ever played. Think “The Postage Stamp” at Royal Troon – which is also the 8th and shortest hole on the famed Scottish links course. This 115-yard par 3 from the blue tee can play like 185 yards if the prevailing SW wind is gale force. One continuous bunker faces you on all sides. The tee juts out into the strait like the famous peninsula in Cornwall that marks the SW corner of the UK – only this Land's End is as far SE as you can go on Vancouver Island.

Pro Tips:

The shortest hole on the course, this uphill par 3 can require just about any iron in your bag, depending on the wind. It is difficult to make par from anywhere in the continuous deep bunker which surrounds this undulating green on three sides. This hole plays longer than it appears.
